About the role We are hiring a Technical Support Engineer (Software Testing) to work on Thailand's leading telecommunications IPTV platform. This is a hands-on QA role covering Android-based set-top box applications and the backend services behind them. If you have tested applications on Android devices, worked through logs and network captures to find root cause, and can build a test plan from scratch, you will recognise the work here. Key Responsibilities - Ensure end-to-end quality assurance for IPTV/OTT software products, including set-top box applications and backend services - Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases - Perform functional, API, performance, compatibility, frontend, and backend testing - Identify, document, track, and verify software defects - Design and execute API testing using mainstream testing tools - Use Android Debug Bridge (ADB) for device connection, log collection, file operations, and performance monitoring - Analyze system logs and network traffic to diagnose technical issues Collaborate closely with customers, developers, and product teams to communicate testing progress, quality status, and project risks - Gather customer feedback and business requirements, follow up on issues, and improve customer satisfaction Technical Skills - Experience in software testing with the ability to independently design and execute test cases - Strong understanding of frontend (Web/App UI) and backend testing - Proficiency with Android Debug Bridge (ADB) - Experience using Android Logcat, Wireshark, or similar tools for log analysis and network packet capture - Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, JMeter, or SoapUI - Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA - Performance testing experience is an advantage Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - Open to all nationalities Language Skills - Fluent in either Thai and English, or Thai and Chinese - Candidates with Chinese and Thai bilingual ability are preferred
