- What You’ll Drive
- Curriculum, Pedagogy & Differentiated Learning
- High-Quality Teaching & Learning: Design and deliver inspiring, rigorous, and inclusive Physics lessons that challenge and motivate students across all ability levels.
- Curriculum Alignment & Mapping: Implement and refine schemes of work and lesson plans in strict alignment with the British National Curriculum, relevant Examination Boards (e.g., Cambridge, Edexcel), and Ministry of Education standards.
- Differentiated Instruction: Apply tailored teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs, language proficiencies, and individual student profiles.
- Assessment, Examination Preparation & Data Tracking
- Rigorous Examination Preparation: Structure and execute comprehensive test preparation frameworks for external examinations (including Mock Exams and A-Levels), ensuring students excel in exam techniques and conceptual understanding.
- Academic Intervention & Support: Provide targeted booster, remedial, and extension sessions based on ongoing data analysis to bridge learning gaps and stretch high-achieving pupils.
- Holistic Assessment & Data Monitoring: Utilize robust formative and summative assessment methodologies and track student attainment systematically within the school’s Management Information System (MIS).
- Pastoral Care, Student Well-being & Safeguarding
- Holistic Student Development: Lead and facilitate student well-being initiatives to foster personal development, resilience, and positive mental health.
- Safeguarding & Classroom Culture: Rigorously uphold child protection and safeguarding policies while maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
- Enrichment, Extra-Curricular & Community Engagement
- Project & Experiential Learning: Initiate and oversee STEM/Physics clubs, educational projects, and field trips that bridge academic theory with real-world applications.
- Parent & Community Collaboration: Maintain transparent communication with parents regarding student progress and actively participate in whole-school events such as Open Days and parent-teacher conferences.
- What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Physics, Engineering or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience teaching Physics to high school students (grades 10-12 / ages 15-19) in International schools.
- Excellent command of English (equivalent to IELTS 6.5+, TOEIC 900+, or TOEFL iBT 90+).
- Strong curriculum design skills, with experience in lesson planning and syllabus development.
- Solid understanding of student assessment and educational evaluation practices.
- Cultural awareness and a commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful learning environment for all students.
- Able to deliver an in-person demo teaching session at the school (Bangkok, Thailand).
