Fleet Services builds and runs Agoda's Kubernetes platform: 160+ clusters, plus the platforms on top of it (GitOps, DNS, certificates, load balancing, identity, and etcd). The team sits in Bangkok, Singapore and Australia. This hire is Bangkok-based and starts in Q1 2027. In this role you will: - Design, build, and operate platform software in Go on Kubernetes. - Own a part of the platform through delivery and production: controllers, automation, and GitOps. - Work with InfraOps and the teams who run on the platform, so changes are safe to roll out and easy to use. - At Senior: lead the design of a component, mentor other engineers, and carry production ownership without day-to-day direction. What You'll Need to Succeed: - Production software engineering experience. At Senior, you have owned a service or platform component through design, delivery, and production, and you design the solution, not only implement it. - Go, or a similar systems language you can be productive in quickly. - Practical Kubernetes in production: workloads, APIs, and how a cluster behaves when something breaks. - Linux, and the habit of testing what you ship. - Enough observability to tell whether a change is healthy: metrics, logs, and alerts. - Clear written and spoken English, including design notes, reviews, and discussion with other teams. - Comfortable using coding agents in day-to-day work, or able to pick that workflow up quickly. They do not replace judgment, code quality, or owning what you ship. It's Great if You Have: - Kubernetes past being a cluster user: controllers, operators, or CRDs. - Cluster API, ArgoCD, or other GitOps. - Networking, DNS, certificates, or load balancing. - Contributing to an open-source operator or controller. - CI/CD for infrastructure. - Working across several teams in a large engineering organization. #telaviv #jerusalem #LI-SK1 #IT #ENG #4 #LI-PS4 #sanfrancisco #sanjose #losangeles #sandiego #oakland #denver #miami #orlando #atlanta #chicago #boston #detroit #newyork #portland #philadelphia #dallas #houston #austin #seattle #sydney #melbourne #perth #toronto #vancouver #montreal #shanghai #beijing #shenzhen #prague #Brno #Ostrava #cairo #alexandria #giza #estonia #paris #berlin #munich #hamburg #stuttgart #cologne #frankfurt #hongkong #budapest #jakarta #bali #dublin #telaviv #milan #rome #venice #florence #naples #turin #palermo #bologna #tokyo #osaka #kualalumpur #malta #amsterdam #oslo #manila #warsaw #krakow #doha #alrayyan #riyadh #jeddah #mecca #medina #singapore #seoul #barcelona #madrid #stockholm #zurich #taipei #tainan #taichung #kaohsiung #bangkok #Phuket #istanbul #london #manchester #liverpool #edinburgh #hcmc #hanoi #lodz #wroclaw #poznan #katowice #rio #salvador #newdelhi #bangalore #bandung #yokohama #nagoya #okinawa #fukuoka #jerusalem #IT #4 #LI-RS1 #newdelhi #Pune #Hyderabad #Bangalore #Mumbai #Bengaluru #Chennai #Kolkata #Lucknow #sanfrancisco #sanjose #losangeles #sandiego #oakland #denver #miami #orlando #atlanta #chicago #boston #detroit #newyork #portland #philadelphia #dallas #houston #austin #seattle #sydney #melbourne #perth #toronto #vancouver #montreal #shanghai #beijing #shenzhen #prague #Brno #Ostrava #cairo #alexandria #giza #estonia #paris #berlin #munich #hamburg #stuttgart #cologne #frankfurt #hongkong #budapest #jakarta #bali #dublin #telaviv #milan #rome #tokyo #osaka #kualalumpur #amsterdam #oslo #manila #warsaw #krakow #bucharest #moscow #saintpetersburg #capetown #johannesburg #seoul #barcelona #madrid #stockholm #zurich #taipei #bangkok #Phuket #istanbul #london #manchester #liverpool #edinburgh #kiev #hcmc #hanoi #wroclaw #poznan #katowice #rio #salvador #IT #4 #5 #LI-Hybrid Please review our Hiring Process Guidelines before your interview — click here to learn how interviewing at Agoda works.
