Key Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance
Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of boats, engines, and marine equipment.
Follow preventive maintenance schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
Monitor engine performance and identify potential issues before breakdowns occur.
Repairs & Troubleshooting
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel system faults.
Troubleshoot engine malfunctions and vessel operational issues.
Coordinate with external suppliers or contractors for major repairs when required.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure all vessels comply with maritime safety requirements and company standards.
Inspect safety equipment regularly, including life jackets, fire extinguishers, navigation lights, radios, and emergency systems.
Support safety drills and emergency preparedness activities.
Equipment Management
Monitor spare parts inventory and maintenance consumables.
Prepare requisitions for spare parts and repair materials.
Maintain maintenance records and service logs for all vessels.
Operational Support
Support Boat Captains and Marine Operations team during vessel operations.
Conduct pre-departure technical inspections.
Be available for emergency repairs when required.

As our first marketing hire, you’ll work directly with the founders to launch and grow Discoveroo, our new product that turns business knowledge and rules into reasoning tools that AI agents can use.
You’ll own day-to-day marketing execution: creating compelling content and product demos, coordinating launch campaigns, engaging relevant communities, and testing channels to attract early users. You’ll turn technical capabilities into clear, practical use cases that help people understand what Discoveroo can do for them.
Your work will help us build our initial user base, learn which messages and channels drive adoption, and establish a repeatable approach to growing the product. This is a hands-on role with room to contribute ideas and see their impact directly.
