The Opportunity
The B2B Event Marketing team is looking for a strategic and results-driven Marketing Manager to own and scale this channel. Events are strategic levers for growth, activation, and relationship building.
This is not a logistics-led role. While operational execution is a critical component, this position sits at the intersection of strategy and execution: shaping how events drive measurable business impact at scale through strategic planning, stakeholder orchestration, and scalable frameworks that elevate events into a measurable business growth engine.
We are looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, builds clarity through frameworks, leads complex cross-functional initiatives with discipline and influence, and earns strong stakeholder trust and executive confidence.
Experience in events marketing is a plus and something we'd love to see, but it is not a requirement. Traditional event production experience is not a prerequisite either. Backgrounds in consulting, strategy, or PMO are equally valued, and we strongly encourage those candidates to apply. What matters most is how you think, structure problems, and drive commercial outcomes.
As a key player in the marketing and sales ecosystem, you will work closely with regional sales and business development teams to ensure events align with business priorities, support business objectives, and contribute directly to revenue goals. You'll be responsible for end-to-end event management.
Key Responsibilities
Event Strategy & Business Integration
- Translate commercial priorities into event strategies with clear business cases
- Develop annual roadmaps aligned to growth objectives
- Define success metrics beyond attendance (pipeline impact, activation, ROI, incrementality)
- Create scalable playbooks and operating models
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Business Development, Sales, Supply, PR, Content, Branding, and Senior Leadership
- Align diverse stakeholders with competing priorities
- Drive structured working sessions and executive updates
- Influence without direct authority in a matrix organization
Program & Project Governance
- Lead large, multi-workstream initiatives end-to-end
- Build detailed project plans with risk mitigation and milestone tracking
- Establish governance cadence and reporting mechanisms
- Ensure disciplined execution across markets and teams
Performance Measurement & Optimization
- Build measurement frameworks and post-event impact analysis
- Identify key performance levers and iterate based on data
- Develop dashboards to track ROI and business outcomes
- Introduce test-and-learn approaches to improve effectiveness
Requirements
We are intentionally looking beyond traditional event planners. Experience in events or field marketing is welcome and will be viewed positively, but it is not essential. You may come from:
- Events, field, or B2B marketing (a plus, not a must)
- Management consulting
- Strategy or business transformation teams
- PMO or complex program leadership roles
- Business operations in high-growth environments
You likely demonstrate 8-12 years of experience:
Structured Problem-Solving
- Ability to turn ambiguity into clear frameworks and action plans
- Strong analytical thinking and commercial acumen
Stakeholder Mastery
- Experience working with senior leadership
- Comfortable navigating high-visibility, high-complexity environments
- Strong influence skills without relying on hierarchy
Execution Excellence
- Exceptional project management discipline
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
- Strong attention to detail without losing strategic altitude
Business Orientation
- Understands P&L drivers and growth mechanics
- Makes data-informed decisions
- Focused on impact, not activity

Agoda’s Marketing organization is highly data-driven and uses experimentation, technology and analytics to create measurable value across markets and channels.
Marketing has successfully developed a strong bottom-up culture of AI adoption, with teams using GenAI to improve analysis, reporting, campaign operations, content development and other recurring workflows. We are now establishing a small Marketing AI Products team to take the next step: turning the most valuable cross-team opportunities into reliable, scalable and widely adopted products.
The team will focus on a small number of high-impact “lighthouse” initiatives while Marketing sub-teams continue to develop and own their everyday, team-specific AI use cases. Initial opportunity areas include experiment analysis, business reporting and monitoring, campaign operations, creative workflows and SEO/AEO content.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a hands-on analyst and product builder who can operate at the intersection of Marketing, data, product development and generative AI.
You will identify high-value workflows, translate business problems into clear product requirements, develop and evaluate solutions, and work with developers and Marketing teams to take successful ideas from prototype through deployment and adoption.
This is not a traditional reporting role or a purely coordination-focused product role. You will be expected to work directly with data and AI tools, understand users’ workflows in detail and take ownership of delivering measurable outcomes.
In This Role, You’ll Get To
- Identify recurring Marketing workflows where AI can materially improve speed, quality, scalability or decision-making.
- Quantify each opportunity by establishing its current effort, pain points, user base and potential business value.
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user journeys, milestones and measurable success criteria.
- Build and test prototypes using SQL, Python, automation tools and generative AI technologies.
- Partner with developers, Technology teams and sponsoring Marketing teams to turn successful prototypes into reliable products.
- Design evaluation frameworks covering output accuracy, reliability, usability, safety and appropriate human review.
- Lead user research, pilots and iterative testing with analysts, channel specialists and other target users.
- Drive rollout, documentation, training and adoption in partnership with sponsoring teams.
- Measure hours saved, improvements in turnaround time and quality, adoption levels and downstream business impact.
- Maintain a prioritized portfolio of Marketing AI opportunities and communicate progress, learnings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Monitor developments in AI capabilities and identify when existing products should be improved, expanded or retired.
- Contribute reusable tools, standards and playbooks that help Marketing teams build better AI-enabled workflows independently.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in analytics, product analytics, marketing strategy, business operations, consulting, product management or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative, technical or business discipline such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics or finance.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working independently with large or complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience with Python, scripting, workflow automation or similar technical tools.
- Experience defining hypotheses, designing experiments and translating results into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong product thinking, including the ability to understand user problems, define requirements and make pragmatic scope and prioritization decisions.
- Ability to break ambiguous problems into structured workstreams and move rapidly from analysis to execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and communicating complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A strong sense of ownership, attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, dependable solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across Marketing, Analytics, Product and Technology teams.
- Experience building GenAI applications, AI agents or automated analytical workflows.
- Familiarity with prompting, retrieval-augmented generation, APIs, model evaluation and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Codex, Cursor, Claude Code or Google AI Studio.
It’s Great if You Have
- Experience writing product requirements, managing a product backlog or taking an internal product from prototype to scaled adoption.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, performance marketing, experimentation, SEO/AEO, campaign operations or personalization.
- Experience establishing quality-assurance and monitoring processes for data or AI products.
- Experience deploying internal tools or working closely with software engineers on production systems.
What Success Looks Like
In your first year, you will help launch and scale a small number of cross-Marketing AI products with clear adoption and value metrics. These products should deliver measurable improvements in employee productivity, output quality or business outcomes—and have clearly defined ownership, documentation, quality controls and maintenance plans.

About Agoda
At Agoda, we bridge the world through travel. Our story began in 2005, when two lifelong friends and entrepreneurs, driven by their passion for travel, launched Agoda to make it easier for everyone to explore the world.
Today, we are part of Booking Holdings [NASDAQ: BKNG], with a diverse team of over 7,000 people from 90 countries, working together in offices around the globe. Every day, we connect people to destinations and experiences, with our great deals across our millions of hotels and holiday properties, flights, and experiences worldwide.
No two days are the same at Agoda. Data and technology are at the heart of our culture, fueling our curiosity and innovation. If you’re ready to begin your best journey and help build travel for the world, join us.
Get to Know our Team
The Customer Experience Group (CEG) of Agoda serves our customers and partners to deliver satisfying results. This is accomplished with the support of our Global Service Verticals (GSV) team — the backbone of CEG’s global operations. Our team includes project managers, process owners, analysts, and talent management. Together we improve the quality and efficiency of our customer and partner support processes.
We are a data-driven environment, eager to move fast and learn through experimentation. A clear focus on supporting our customers and partners is bolstered by a strong, entrepreneurial culture that enriches us and Agoda’s business performance.
This role sits in the B2B Partnerships and Automation team, part of CEG’s Global Service Verticals. The team drives end-to-end customer experience and process improvements, and scales impact through automation, AI, and tooling across customer-facing and agent-facing journeys.
The Opportunity
This Associate Director role owns and leads the project management team for this area: setting direction, raising the delivery bar, and being accountable for the outcomes of the team’s portfolio.
The portfolio typically covers:
- (i) automation, AI, and tooling that improve customer and agent experience, and
- (ii) process optimization and CX improvements across the post-booking journey, including operational (CS) support and optimization.
You will combine strategic problem solving, hands-on data-driven execution, strong project management, and senior stakeholder and partner management. Commercial acumen is a real advantage: you will often be the CEG project counterpart to commercial and partner stakeholders, translating business needs into deliverable work without owning the commercial P&L.
In this Role, you’ll get to:
Lead the Project Management Team and its Portfolio
- Own the PM team end-to-end: vision, structure, ways of working, hiring, coaching, performance, and succession of project managers (and people managers on the team, where applicable).
- Set long-term direction and annual/quarterly OKRs for the team, aligned with CEG and Agoda-wide priorities.
- Own the outcomes of the team’s portfolio of global initiatives — prioritization, quality, impact, risk, and delivery.
- Prioritize and drive work that moves mission-critical metrics: customer satisfaction (e.g. CSAT), service levels, automation quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and employee/agent engagement.
- Ensure CEG project readiness to support Agoda’s new business and product initiatives by working closely with Product, Data, Strategic Partnerships, Finance, Legal, Operations/Support, and other teams.
Drive Automation, AI, and Continuous Innovation
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and tooling across customer and agent journeys (e.g. self-service, workflow automation, AI quality testing, agent guidance).
- Partner with Product, Technology, Data, and CEG teams to design, prioritize, and implement solutions — from experimentation through global rollout and impact measurement.
- Oversee configuration and governance of operational flows and low-code/automation tools so solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with CX standards.
- Act as a natural innovator: reframe problems, pitch new approaches (tech/AI and non-tech process), and systematically improve how the team and CEG work — not only execute a pre-agreed roadmap.
Shape Process, CX, and Operational Support Improvements
- Lead project work that improves CEG end-to-end processes across the post-booking journey, removing pain points and improving operational performance through targeted initiatives and data-driven insight.
- Own and evolve frameworks and roadmaps for how we continuously improve internal SOPs and related processes, balancing CX/PX outcomes vs efficiency/cost.
- Drive strategic project initiatives such as localization support in key growth markets, regulatory work, and operational (CS) support and optimization — in close partnership with ops and commercial teams, without taking line ownership of those functions.
- Define clear problem statements and business cases; prioritize customer and partner pain points against success metrics.
Partner, Stakeholder, and Commercial Interface
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across CEG, Agoda, Booking Holdings, and other functions; influence priorities and decisions as the owner of this PM team’s agenda.
- Be a primary project counterpart for core partners and commercial stakeholders: understand commercial context, surface operable trade-offs, and land cross-functional alignment.
- Present to CEG senior leadership with confidence and minimal supervision; act as the go-to person for this team’s domain.
- Monitor milestones, risks, and dependencies; troubleshoot issues; implement mitigation — remaining the ultimate owner of the portfolio’s outcomes.
What you’ll Need to Succeed
Experience & Background
- At least 8–10+ years in project/program management, operations, customer experience, process improvement, strategy, management consulting, or similar — with a strong project management core (this is non-negotiable).
- Significant people leadership: building and leading a high-performing team of project managers (including people managers and individual contributors).
- Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from idea to implementation, with clear, measurable business impact.
- Experience working across operational CS / customer support environments (optimization, process, tooling, quality, or service delivery projects) is strongly preferred.
- Experience as a counterpart to commercial or partner stakeholders, with genuine commercial acumen, is highly advantageous.
- Experience working closely with Product, Technology, and Data on technical, automation, or AI-focused projects is highly advantageous.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical mindset; comfortable with numbers and quantitative problem solving. Able to define analysis structures, interpret data, challenge existing metrics, and make recommendations.
- Familiarity with data and analytics tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau, Metabase, or similar) and experience using them to drive decisions.
- Comfort working with or overseeing workflow, automation, and agent-guidance tools, and the ability to engage in technical discussions with Product, Engineering, and Data. Coding ability is a plus; willingness to learn is expected.
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven solutions in an operational or CX context (e.g. chatbots, routing, classification, quality testing, or decision-support tools) is a strong plus.
CX, Process, and Delivery Skills
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and CX transformation, ideally in operations or customer support environments.
- Excellent project and stakeholder management: multiple initiatives in parallel, structured problem-solving, orchestration of cross-functional teams.
- Experience defining and driving improvements in KPIs such as CSAT, NPS, SLAs, handle time, productivity, or cost-to-serve.
Leadership, Communication & Ways of Working
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural environment; comfortable with ambiguity and experimentation.
- Growth mindset: proactive, hands-on, detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Eagerness to pitch new ideas, take initiative, and seek out opportunities for improvement; comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
- Comfortable with flexible working hours. This team operates across global time zones (notably Asia and the US, and other Booking Holdings / partner locations). Early or late calls are a normal part of the role, not an exception.
What we offer
- Competitive compensation package (relocation support and visa support provided for successful overseas candidates)
- High-impact career opportunity with a major global OTA, including potential moves between teams and global locations. You will interact with departmental senior leadership regularly.
- Dynamic, multinational tech environment with colleagues from diverse educational and professional backgrounds.
- Continuous learning and development opportunities through corporate learning programs.
- Modern office space and convenient location at the heart of Bangkok Metropolitan, Hub of Asia.

No two days are the same at Agoda. Data and technology are at the heart of our culture, fueling our curiosity and innovation. If you’re ready to begin your best journey and help build travel for the world, join us.
The Opportunity
Agoda Finance doesn't sit on the sidelines. We sit at the table where decisions get made — and we make sure those decisions are backed by the sharpest financial thinking in the room.
We're looking for someone who sees a set of financials and immediately asks "what does this tell us, and what should we do about it?" Someone who can walk into a room of senior stakeholders, command their attention, and translate complex financial realities into clear, compelling narratives that drive action.
If you've spent your career building something — better processes, stronger controls, smarter reporting — and you're ready to do it at scale, across borders, and at one of Asia's most dynamic tech companies, this is your seat.
In This Role, You'll Get To
International Financial Reporting
- Lead financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions — owning the numbers, the narrative, and the decisions that follow.
Be the go-to voice for financial performance analysis that shapes how Agoda's leadership thinks about the business.
Partner directly with Booking Holdings and affiliated global brands on cross-entity financial matters.
Build What Doesn't Exist Yet
- Take the lead on high-impact finance projects — new payment methods, new product launches, new market entries.
- Design the data flows, workflows, and control frameworks that will underpin Agoda's next chapter.
- Drive UAT, post-go-live monitoring, and continuous improvement — from concept to execution.
Controls & Compliance That Actually Work
- Own the internal control environment across jurisdictions — SOX, Anti-Corruption, Corporate Policy — not as a checkbox exercise, but as a genuine competitive advantage.
- Oversee reconciliations across all significant balance sheet accounts and ensure exceptions are surfaced, understood, and resolved.
- Translate accounting policy into practical, operational guidance that teams can actually use.
Tax Intelligence
- Navigate corporate income tax, withholding tax, and indirect tax obligations across the countries where Agoda operates.
- Equip the Tax team with the precise, timely information they need to stay compliant and ahead of risk.
Lead, Develop, Elevate
- Build a team that's better because of you — through coaching, mentorship, and setting a standard of excellence.
- Create an environment where smart people are challenged, supported, and growing.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including meaningful time at management level.
- A track record of owning financial reporting end-to-end — not just producing it, but improving it.
- Deep fluency in local GAAP and/or US GAAP, internal controls, and multi-jurisdictional compliance.
- The ability to lead through complexity — across teams, time zones, and competing priorities.
- Exceptional communication skills — you can present to a CFO and coach a junior analyst in the same afternoon.
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working in a data-rich environment.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
It's Great If You Have
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA or equivalent
- SQL and data analysis skills — because the best finance leaders don't wait for the data team to answer their questions.
- Experience working in or with high-growth tech companies or complex multinational structures.

The Opportunity
We are looking for an FX Controller to join our Finance team in Bangkok. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong technical knowledge of foreign exchange, derivatives, hedge accounting and financial controls in a complex multinational environment.
You will own the accounting and controllership framework for foreign-currency transactions and exposures across multiple entities, currencies and jurisdictions. This includes FX revaluation, realized and unrealized gains and losses, derivatives, hedge-related accounting, foreign-currency intercompany transactions, exchange-rate governance and the reconciliation of Treasury systems to the general ledger.
You will be responsible for ensuring that FX accounting outcomes are complete, accurate, explainable and compliant with applicable accounting standards and internal policies. You will also provide clear analysis of material FX movements, identify unexpected exposures or accounting outcomes, and coordinate their resolution with Treasury, Controllership, Tax, Finance Systems and other Finance teams.
Beyond close and reporting ownership, you will help establish a scalable FX accounting operating model. This includes strengthening controls, improving exposure and hedge visibility, automating reconciliations and ensuring that the economic intent of Treasury activity is reflected appropriately in the financial statements.
This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys combining technical accounting, FX and derivatives expertise, financial controllership, data analysis and cross-functional leadership.
In This Role, You'll Get To
FX Accounting and Close Ownership
- Own the end-to-end accounting for foreign-currency transactions, balances, exposures and Treasury-driven FX activity across multiple entities and ledgers.
- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual FX close activities, ensuring that all relevant transactions, valuations, revaluations and accounting adjustments are recorded accurately and on time.
- Review and approve FX-related journal entries, including realized and unrealized gains and losses, balance-sheet revaluations, derivatives, settlements and hedge-related entries.
- Ensure the correct treatment of transaction currency, functional currency, reporting currency and source-currency amounts throughout the accounting process.
- Review FX results across the income statement, balance sheet and other comprehensive income, where applicable, and explain material movements to senior Finance stakeholders.
- Perform reasonableness and trend analysis of FX gains and losses against exposures, market-rate movements, hedging activity, prior periods and forecasts.
- Investigate unexpected FX volatility, unusual source-currency balances, duplicated or missing entries, incorrect exchange rates and other accounting exceptions.
- Maintain clear visibility over outstanding FX close items, owners, financial impact and expected resolution dates.
Derivatives and Hedge Accounting
- Oversee the accounting for FX derivatives, including forwards, options, swaps and other instruments used to manage foreign-currency risk.
- Review derivative valuations, settlements, premiums, accruals and related general-ledger postings.
- Assess and document the appropriate accounting treatment for new or non-routine FX and derivative transactions.
- Support or oversee hedge designation, hedge documentation, effectiveness assessments and the ongoing accounting for qualifying hedging relationships.
- Ensure accurate presentation of hedge results between the income statement, balance sheet and other comprehensive income, where applicable.
- Monitor non-designated or non-qualifying hedges and ensure that their accounting impact is accurately tracked and explained.
- Review hedge discontinuations, modifications, rollovers, early settlements and ineffectiveness for appropriate accounting treatment.
- Support quarterly derivatives disclosures, group reporting, regulatory or survey submissions and audit requirements.
FX Exposure and Balance-Sheet Control
- Develop and maintain a complete view of material foreign-currency monetary assets, liabilities, commitments and intercompany exposures.
- Reconcile FX exposure information between Treasury systems, bank data, subledgers, consolidation systems and the general ledger.
- Review foreign-currency cash, bank, receivable, payable, loan, cash-pool and intercompany balances for completeness and appropriate revaluation.
- Oversee the accounting for foreign-currency intercompany funding, settlements, service charges and other cross-border transactions.
- Ensure approved exchange rates are applied consistently, including spot rates, month-end rates, average rates, historical rates and fixed intercompany rates where required.
- Challenge unexplained or unhedged exposures and work with Treasury and Finance teams to determine whether they arise from genuine economic positions, timing differences, missing transactions or accounting errors.
- Establish investigation and escalation thresholds for material FX differences and unresolved reconciliation items.
- Ensure significant FX-related balance-sheet accounts are reconciled, reviewed and signed off within the close timetable.
Exchange-Rate Governance and Data Quality
- Own or oversee the governance of exchange rates used in ERP, Treasury, consolidation and reporting systems.
- Validate that approved rates are complete, accurate, timely and consistently applied across entities and accounting processes.
- Monitor interfaces between systems, market-data sources, ERP platforms and relevant tools.
- Investigate differences caused by incorrect rates, stale data, currency mapping or system configurations.
- Partner with Finance Systems and Treasury teams to improve the reliability and traceability of data.
- Maintain appropriate evidence and approval records for rates, valuations, adjustments and system-generated entries.
Financial Reporting and Management Analysis
- Deliver accurate and timely FX accounting results for management, treasury, group consolidation and statutory reporting.
- Prepare clear explanations of material movements, distinguishing between operational exposure, translation effects, revaluation, hedging results, settlement timing and accounting corrections.
- Partner with FP&A and Finance Business Partners to explain actual FX outcomes against forecast or budget assumptions.

- Support the preparation and review of financial-statement disclosures relating to foreign currency, derivatives, financial instruments and risk management.
- Provide accounting insight to Treasury on the potential financial-statement implications of proposed transactions or hedging strategies.
- Support senior management and group reporting queries relating to FX volatility, exposure, hedging performance and balance-sheet movements.

- Explore appropriate automation and AI-enabled solutions to improve analysis, exception detection, documentation and close efficiency.
