Today, we are part of Booking Holdings [NASDAQ: BKNG], with a diverse team of over 7,000 people from 90 countries, working together in offices around the globe. Every day, we connect people to destinations and experiences, with our great deals across our millions of hotels and holiday properties, flights, and experiences worldwide. No two days are the same at Agoda. Data and technology are at the heart of our culture, fueling our curiosity and innovation. If you’re ready to begin your best journey and help build travel for the world, join us. Our team includes project managers, process owners, analysts, and talent management. Together we improve the quality and efficiency of our customer and partner support processes. We are a data-driven environment, eager to move fast and learn through experimentation. A clear focus on supporting our customers and partners is bolstered by a strong, entrepreneurial culture that enriches us and Agoda’s business performance. The team drives end-to-end customer experience and process improvements, and scales impact through automation, AI, and tooling across customer-facing and agent-facing journeys. The Opportunity This Associate Director role owns and leads the project management team for this area: setting direction, raising the delivery bar, and being accountable for the outcomes of the team’s portfolio. You will combine strategic problem solving, hands-on data-driven execution, strong project management, and senior stakeholder and partner management. Commercial acumen is a real advantage: you will often be the CEG project counterpart to commercial and partner stakeholders, translating business needs into deliverable work without owning the commercial P&L. In this Role, you’ll get to: Lead the Project Management Team and its Portfolio - Own the PM team end-to-end: vision, structure, ways of working, hiring, coaching, performance, and succession of project managers (and people managers on the team, where applicable). - Set long-term direction and annual/quarterly OKRs for the team, aligned with CEG and Agoda-wide priorities. - Own the outcomes of the team’s portfolio of global initiatives — prioritization, quality, impact, risk, and delivery. - Prioritize and drive work that moves mission-critical metrics: customer satisfaction (e.g. CSAT), service levels, automation quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and employee/agent engagement. - Ensure CEG project readiness to support Agoda’s new business and product initiatives by working closely with Product, Data, Strategic Partnerships, Finance, Legal, Operations/Support, and other teams. Drive Automation, AI, and Continuous Innovation - Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and tooling across customer and agent journeys (e.g. self-service, workflow automation, AI quality testing, agent guidance). - Partner with Product, Technology, Data, and CEG teams to design, prioritize, and implement solutions — from experimentation through global rollout and impact measurement. - Oversee configuration and governance of operational flows and low-code/automation tools so solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with CX standards. - Act as a natural innovator: reframe problems, pitch new approaches (tech/AI and non-tech process), and systematically improve how the team and CEG work — not only execute a pre-agreed roadmap. Shape Process, CX, and Operational Support Improvements - Lead project work that improves CEG end-to-end processes across the post-booking journey, removing pain points and improving operational performance through targeted initiatives and data-driven insight. - Own and evolve frameworks and roadmaps for how we continuously improve internal SOPs and related processes, balancing CX/PX outcomes vs efficiency/cost. - Drive strategic project initiatives such as localization support in key growth markets, regulatory work, and operational (CS) support and optimization — in close partnership with ops and commercial teams, without taking line ownership of those functions. - Define clear problem statements and business cases; prioritize customer and partner pain points against success metrics. Partner, Stakeholder, and Commercial Interface - Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across CEG, Agoda, Booking Holdings, and other functions; influence priorities and decisions as the owner of this PM team’s agenda. - Be a primary project counterpart for core partners and commercial stakeholders: understand commercial context, surface operable trade-offs, and land cross-functional alignment. - Present to CEG senior leadership with confidence and minimal supervision; act as the go-to person for this team’s domain. - Monitor milestones, risks, and dependencies; troubleshoot issues; implement mitigation — remaining the ultimate owner of the portfolio’s outcomes. What you’ll Need to Succeed Experience & Background - At least 8–10+ years in project/program management, operations, customer experience, process improvement, strategy, management consulting, or similar — with a strong project management core (this is non-negotiable). - Significant people leadership: building and leading a high-performing team of project managers (including people managers and individual contributors). - Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from idea to implementation, with clear, measurable business impact. - Experience working across operational CS / customer support environments (optimization, process, tooling, quality, or service delivery projects) is strongly preferred. - Experience as a counterpart to commercial or partner stakeholders, with genuine commercial acumen, is highly advantageous. - Experience working closely with Product, Technology, and Data on technical, automation, or AI-focused projects is highly advantageous. Technical & Analytical Skills - Strong analytical mindset; comfortable with numbers and quantitative problem solving. Able to define analysis structures, interpret data, challenge existing metrics, and make recommendations. - Familiarity with data and analytics tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau, Metabase, or similar) and experience using them to drive decisions. - Comfort working with or overseeing workflow, automation, and agent-guidance tools, and the ability to engage in technical discussions with Product, Engineering, and Data. Coding ability is a plus; willingness to learn is expected. - Exposure to AI/ML-driven solutions in an operational or CX context (e.g. chatbots, routing, classification, quality testing, or decision-support tools) is a strong plus. CX, Process, and Delivery Skills - Demonstrated experience in process improvement and CX transformation, ideally in operations or customer support environments. - Excellent project and stakeholder management: multiple initiatives in parallel, structured problem-solving, orchestration of cross-functional teams. - Experience defining and driving improvements in KPIs such as CSAT, NPS, SLAs, handle time, productivity, or cost-to-serve. Leadership, Communication & Ways of Working - Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural environment; comfortable with ambiguity and experimentation. - Growth mindset: proactive, hands-on, detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. - Eagerness to pitch new ideas, take initiative, and seek out opportunities for improvement; comfortable giving and receiving feedback. - Comfortable with flexible working hours. This team operates across global time zones (notably Asia and the US, and other Booking Holdings / partner locations). Early or late calls are a normal part of the role, not an exception. What we offer - Competitive compensation package (relocation support and visa support provided for successful overseas candidates) - High-impact career opportunity with a major global OTA, including potential moves between teams and global locations. You will interact with departmental senior leadership regularly. - Dynamic, multinational tech environment with colleagues from diverse educational and professional backgrounds. - Continuous learning and development opportunities through corporate learning programs. - Modern office space and convenient location at the heart of Bangkok Metropolitan, Hub of Asia. What You'll Own - Own a vertical end-to-end - outcomes and metrics, a backlog prioritised by value / risk / dependency / strategic priority, acceptance criteria crisp enough to build and test against. - Shape the technical design with engineering - system boundaries, money-movement correctness (idempotency, ledgering, reconciliation), third-party-rail reliance and rail-down behaviour, failure/retry/refund paths, security, latency, scalability, recovery. - Make hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability and UX - and defend them to an engineering, compliance or ops lead who pushes back. - Treat regulated constraints as first-class product inputs - licensing scope, CDD/KYC and limits, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency and privacy. Know which are hard launch gates and which are forward-readiness. - Apply AI where it earns its place - define what it's allowed to decide, where a human stays in the loop, how it's evaluated, and what it does when unsure. Every AI-surfaced number traces back to a real record. - Ship against external gates - build feature-complete behind flags; go live per rail as each partner and regulatory gate clears. - Work across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury and Finance/Reconciliation What We're Looking For - Product leadership - significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end; strong judgement and decisiveness under ambiguity; ability to balance ambition against technical, regulatory and operational reality; can hold their own with senior engineers. - Technical foundation - solid system design (boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, consistency under concurrency); comfort reading, reviewing and challenging design docs; can sketch an architecture and a sequence. No production code, but technical enough that engineers don't have to simplify. - Domain - experience in a regulated / high-consequence domain (payments, banking, remittance, insurance, …) or demonstrable fast-ramp ability; understands why money movement is different (correctness over convenience, irreversible states, partners you don't control). - AI judgement - hands-on with LLM-based products; can frame a feature as eval-able (offline, online, human feedback); realistic on hallucination/drift/data gaps, including data-blocked vs model-blocked and when a model must not be in the loop at all. - Nice to have - engineer or highly-technical-PM background · zero-to-one · shipped AI-heavy consumer products · defined eval metrics for ML/LLM systems · AI UX + failure-handling intuition · SEA market experience. Outcome - Clear vertical strategy and legible roadmap - Ships fast and clears the gates that actually block launch - Money is correct and users are never misled about the state of their funds - AI features are valuable, predictable and trusted - Trade-offs made deliberately under uncertainty and hold up when challenged - Engineering, design, compliance, and operations are aligned with minimal friction Location This is a remote role. We hire globally and work across multiple countries and time zones. Candidates should be comfortable working effectively in a distributed, fast-moving international team and collaborating with colleagues across different locations. Language English is our main working language across global teams. Strong English communication is required. Interview Process Our process is designed to move fast: - Online assessment or practical task - Technical interview - CEO / final round For strong candidates, we aim to complete the process and make an offer within 1 week from the start of the interview process. Candidates who complete assessments quickly will be prioritized.

Today, we are expanding ways to help people in Asia and it includes spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and more. Our objective is to build tools that will help people get more from their money and at ease and self reliance, become an expert. We believe AI will help us achieve this in our generation. We are looking for the most talented and driven people we can find. We are looking for people who work for their passion, not counting hours. Who loves building great next-generation products, not status quo. Who cares about redefining how everyone around us can get the best financial applications, not for an exclusive few. We have teams working around the world, with over 20 nationalities and growing from our offices and remotely. Join us and build a better future. If you're this person, we'd love to talk to you. The Role KIRA is building a AI Neobank Superapp for Southeast Asia across payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. These products move real money. Reliability, regulatory requirements, and third-party financial rails are fundamental to the product - not considerations around the edges. The Technical Product Manager owns a product vertical end-to-end, from strategy and outcomes through technical design, delivery, and launch. We are AI-native by default, but AI is a means, not the goal. The bar is knowing where AI genuinely improves an outcome, where deterministic systems must remain in control, and how to build products that are reliable, auditable, and trusted. What You'll Own - Owning a product vertical end-to-end, including strategy, metrics, roadmap, priorities and delivery. - Shaping technical design with engineering across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security and scalability. - Driving trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements and user experience. - Building regulatory requirements into the product across KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy and licensing. - Applying AI where it improves outcomes, with clear evaluation, safeguards, human oversight and failure handling. - Shipping products around external dependencies, including regulatory approvals, financial rails and third-party partners. - Aligning Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury and Finance around clear product decisions and launch requirements. What We're Looking For - 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production. - Strong technical foundation across system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes and distributed systems. - Experience working closely with engineers and ability to review, challenge and contribute to technical designs. - Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading or another regulated, high-consequence product domain. - Strong product judgment and ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory and operational constraints. - Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation, reliability and understanding when AI should not be used. Nice to have - Engineering or highly technical product background. - Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products. - Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products. About BJAK The original mission of BJAK is we believe people deserve smarter ways to plan, save and grow their money. This is the origin of our name. Started in 2019, we built the first mobile-first, insurance platform, enabling insurance to be accessible online by millions in the region. Today, its the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia. Today, we are expanding ways to help people in the region — this includes spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and more. Our mission is help people get more from their money every day. We have teams working around the world, with over 20 nationalities from our offices and remotely, who truly enjoys their work. We are looking for the most talented and driven people we can find. We are looking for people who work for their passion, not counting hours. Who loves building great next-generation products, not status quo. Who cares about redefining how everyone around us can get the best financial applications, not for an exclusive few. The Role We are looking for a Lead Engineer to take technical ownership of complex products and systems and raise the engineering bar across the team. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You will be expected to design systems, write and review code, solve difficult engineering problems, guide other engineers and drive major initiatives from idea to production. You should be comfortable moving between architecture and implementation — making strong technical decisions while still being close enough to the code to execute when needed. What You'll Own - Lead the technical design and execution of major products, features and engineering initiatives. - Design scalable, reliable and maintainable systems across backend, frontend, APIs, databases and infrastructure. - Stay hands-on with engineering through coding, prototyping, code reviews, debugging and production problem-solving. - Make architecture decisions and technical trade-offs that balance speed, scalability, reliability and maintainability. - Break ambiguous product and technical problems into clear engineering solutions and execution plans. - Set a high bar for code quality, system design, testing, security, observability and production reliability. - Review technical designs and code from other engineers and provide clear, actionable feedback. - Mentor engineers and help strengthen technical capability across the team. - Identify technical risks, bottlenecks and architectural weaknesses before they become larger problems. - Work closely with engineering, product, design and AI teams to ship high-quality products quickly. - Improve engineering tooling, development practices and automation to increase team velocity. - Own systems beyond release — monitor production, investigate incidents, resolve root causes and continuously improve reliability. What We're Looking For - Strong software engineering background with significant experience building and shipping production systems. - Deep technical expertise in one or more areas such as backend, frontend, distributed systems, APIs, databases or cloud infrastructure. - Strong system design and architecture skills with experience making technical decisions for complex or high-scale systems. - Strong coding ability and willingness to remain hands-on. - Proven experience leading major engineering projects or providing technical leadership to other engineers. - Comfortable reviewing code, debugging complex issues and working directly with production systems. - Able to explain complex technical decisions clearly and influence engineers across teams. - Strong product sense and ability to connect technical decisions to customer and business outcomes. - Able to work fast with ambiguity and take ownership from problem definition through production. - Strong judgment around when to move quickly, when to simplify and when deeper engineering investment is required. This Role Is Not For - Engineers who want a leadership title but no longer want to write or review code. - People who only want to work within one narrow technical area. - Engineers who wait for complete specifications before starting. - Candidates who over-engineer solutions when a simpler approach would achieve the outcome. - Engineers who focus only on implementation without understanding the product or business problem. - People who avoid production incidents, difficult debugging or ownership after release. - Candidates who make vague claims about technical leadership without being able to explain what they personally designed, built, shipped or scaled. The Bar We are looking for technical leaders with real engineering career highlights. A strong highlight is not simply having a senior title or working at a famous technology company. A strong highlight means you personally designed, built, shipped or scaled a serious product, platform or system and can go deep into the technical decisions behind it. You should be able to demonstrate both technical depth and technical leadership — someone who can solve difficult engineering problems personally while making the engineers around them stronger. Location This is a remote role. We hire globally and work across multiple countries and time zones. Candidates should be comfortable working effectively in a distributed, fast-moving international team and collaborating with colleagues across different locations.
