อินเวสทรี (ไทยแลนด์) เป็นบริษัท Startup ทางด้าน Financial Technology ที่มีจุดเริ่มต้นที่ประเทศอินโดนิเซียก่อนจะขยายธุรกิจไปประเทศเวียดนาม และล่าสุดได้จดทะเบียนจัดตั้งบริษัทในประเทศไทย พร้อมทั้งมีแผนพัฒนาและขยายธุรกิจต่อไปในอนาคต รูปแบบธุรกิจของอินเวสทรี คือระบบสินเชื่อแบบ Peer-to-Peer lending หรือ ระบบการกู้ยืมเงินที่ไม่จำเป็นต้องผ่านระบบธนาคารแบบในอดีต ซึ่งเต็มไปด้วยข้อจำกัด เช่นมีระบบตรวจสอบที่ไม่เอื้ออำนวยให้ธุรกิจรายย่อยได้เข้าถึงแหล่งเงินกู้ที่มีคุณภาพทำให้คนจำนวนมากต้องหันไปพึ่งพาการกู้หนี้นอกระบบและการขูดรีดดอกเบี้ยในอัตราที่สูงเกินไป การเข้ามาของอินเวสทรี คือ การทำหน้าที่เป็นตัวกลางที่เชื่อมโยง ระหว่างผู้ต้องการกู้ยืมเงินหรือผู้ขอสินเชื่อและผู้ที่ต้องการให้ยืมเงินหรือผู้ให้สินเชื่อโดยผ่านระบบออนไลน์ที่โปร่งใสและเชื่อถือได้ เพื่อเปิดโอกาสและเป็นทางเลือกให้ผู้ขอสินเชื่อได้เข้าถึงแหล่งเงินทุนได้อย่างง่ายดายและรวดเร็วเพื่อการขยายธุรกิจที่มีต้นทุนต่ำ มีความมั่นคง และยั่งยืนขณะเดียวกันก็เพิ่มโอกาสและอิสรภาพในการด้านลงทุนให้กับผู้ให้สินเชื่อเพื่อให้ได้ผลตอบแทนที่คุ้มค่ากับความเสี่ยง ที่สำคัญที่สุดคือเรามีจุดมุ่งหมายในการใช้เทคโนโลยีพาระบบการเงินหวนกลับไปทำหน้าที่พื้นฐานหลักคือ จัดระบบให้เงินทุนส่วนเกินไหลไปสู่ธุรกิจที่ขาดเงินลงทุนอย่างแท้จริง ทั้งนี้เพื่อช่วยให้ระบบการเงินการลงุทนมีสภาพคล่องมากยิ่งขึ้น หลักการทำงานของระบบสินเชื่อ Peer-to-Peer(P2P) เพื่อน-สู่-เพื่อน เราจะสร้างระบบออนไลน์ที่ทำหน้าที่เชื่อมโยงบุคคลธรรมดาที่ต้องการปล่อยสินเชื่อกับคนทำธุรกิจรายย่อยที่มีความต้องการกู้เงิน เปรียบเสมือนการปล่อยสินเชื่อระหว่างคนรู้จัก แต่แทนที่จะเป็นการปล่อยสินเชื่อโดยพึ่งพาความไว้วางใจหรือความคุ้นเคยเป็นการส่วนตัว เราจะใช้เทคโนโลยีในการวิเคราะห์สินเชื่อตามมาตรฐานธนาคารและมาตรฐานสากล อินเวสทรีจะทำหน้าที่เป็นตัวกลางในการบริหารความเสี่ยงในการให้สินเชื่อ โดยจะใช้มาตรฐานการคำนวณความเสี่ยงแบบ Risk-based นอกจากนั้น ก็จะทำหน้าที่ในการจัดทำสัญญาการกู้ยืมที่มีผลบังคับใช้ตามกฎหมาย การจัดการการโอนเงินระหว่างผู้ให้กู้และผู้กู้ผ่านระบบธนาคารพาณิชย์ รวมทั้งติดตามการชำระเงินอีกด้วย
