GetLinks' CEO, Keenan, was invited to be a face-to-face speaker in a panel discussion in IFC’s 9th Global Education Conference, held in March 2024 in Mexico where he shared the stage with other 2-3 panelists.
The conference gathered an audience of 400+ global executives from across the education industry, including Founders, CEOs, and Presidents of Education/Ed-Tech companies; Directors, Deans, Vice Chancellors, and Rectors of leading universities; Managing Directors at Private Equity firms, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) and Investment Banks; and Education Ministers as well as other notable government education leaders.
The theme of the 2024 conference is Rethink & Redesign: Education Systems for a Changing World, focusing on the increased appetite for technology and science-based knowledge is propelling a strong need for re-skilling and upskilling globally.
Technology is now ubiquitous across education systems and digital transformation is a necessity for educational institutions to remain competitive given that hybrid and blended learning are expected to represent the future of education. The effects of the pandemic across all levels of education requires us to rethink and redesign education systems to alleviate learning losses and integrate technology to enhance teaching and learning.
