Job Summary / Scope Vogt Power International specializes in the design, manufacturing, and supply of Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG). The Procurement Coordinator has a wide range of responsibilities for the sourcing and delivery of equipment and materials. This includes managing the RFQ process, negotiations, expediting documentation, overseeing supplier adherence to contract commercial requirements and dispute resolution. This position will be in the Bangkok, Thailand office and will report to the Louisville, Kentucky, USA office. Primary Responsibilities: - Support the Proposal/ Estimating teams with current market pricing and lead times through transmittal of RFQ’s as required. - Manage RFQ process for products and services. Position Summary Responsible for all aspects of quality control for a given Vogt Power Project including special requirements from clients’ specification, reviewing and approving of subcontractors’ quality plans, welding procedures and other manufacturing procedures, develop and monitor ITP’s and assimilate quality control documentation to conform with Vogt Power International and customer requirements. Job Summary: Responsible for project engineering coordination for the department including, but not limited to activities related to Project development, execution, initiating requisitions and review of Terms & Conditions. This position has responsibility and accountability for ensuring engineering schedules, providing engineering with man-hour forecasts and engineering budgets on assigned projects. Essential Duties - Develops and Maintains P&IDs and Process Flow diagrams. - Develops and Maintains Line, Terminal Point, Valve, Instrument, Equipment, and I/O lists - Sizes and specifies for purchase all large-bore and small-bore valves include motor operated valves (Including actuator specification), ball valves and safety relief valves. - Sizes and Specifies for purchase instruments and control valves. - Develop and Responsible for all equipment specifications and manufacturing packages for Fabricators and Equipment. - Sizes and Specifies for engineered equipment such as pumps, duct burners, SCR and ammonia systems, CO catalysts, deaerators, dampers, expansion joints, heat exchangers, silencers, sampling and dosing, and miscellaneous equipment. - Performs bid evaluation, review vendor drawings, technical correspondence with vendor and subcontracting. - Develop and Maintains Control and Operation Philosophy and Logic Diagrams - Miscellaneous calculations – Valves, size, drain time, restriction orifices, piping insulation requirements. - Attends project and design review meeting. - Review code calculations. - Review customer specifications - Familiarize after award of contract. - Develops and maintains O&M manuals, Operator Training manuals, performs operator training. - Supports continuous improvement initiatives and maintains departmental standards. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering - Good English communication skills - 3-5 years of experience in Heat Recovery Steam Generators or other related process experience. - Basic understanding of electrical design is a plus.
